You may fax roster forms to 240-778-1450 or mail to WMDA, P.O. Box 1308, Frederick, MD 21702 or drop off in stat boxes located at McGurk’s and Krug’s Place. Please include a cover letter with contact name and phone number when faxing rosters.

The captains meeting will be held at Krug s Place at 7:30 PM. This meeting is mandatory for team captains. If you are a team captain and can not attend, please email us at wmda@wmda.org. This meeting is open to ALL WMDA MEMBERS. Members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Voting for board members and the President position will occur at this meeting. All members are encouraged to participate in voting.

New this season:

  • 2 out of 3 matches now count as 2 points. No more freebie point as previous seasons. Personal stats are unaffected by this.
  • Division 3 scheduling will allow for mandatory 2 board matches. Schedules will be created so that there will be a minimum of 2 boards available for division 3 on match night
  • Penalty points. See the updated guidelines for more information.

Because of the number of teams in division 3, there will be 3 weeks of playoffs instead of the normal 2 weeks.

Match formats will remain the same except for division 1. Division 1 will decide on it’s format at the captains meeting.

Players who shoot a 9 mark or 180 will receive a 9 mark or 180 pin. Players who have more than one 9 mark or ton 180 can opt to buy a pin for each additional 9 mark or 180 they throw for $1.00 each. Example: You throw three 9 marks this season. The first is awarded as usual then you may purchase the other 2 for $1.00 each.

Awards for top shooters for this season are given using this formula: 1 player per team +1. Therefore if there are 6 teams, the top 7 players get awards (6 teams + 1 = 7). Players must play the minimum number of games for their division to be eligible to receive personal awards.

Playoff format for this season will be 4 teams. 4th @ 1st and 3rd @ 2nd.

Team final rosters will be updated on this site approx. 1-week after the due date. No changes can be made to rosters after the final roster due date without permission from the board. The use of an illegal player will result in automatic forfeits for each game the suspect player participates in.

There has been some confusion in the past as to team member eligibility when it comes to who gets included on the Championship (bar) plaque. Only team members who have met the minimum games played requirement for the season are included on the plaque. If you have not played the minimum amount of games, you will be omitted from the plaque.
